Position

Nobody pays for position. Nothing on this site is ordered by who paid, and no one can buy their way to the top of a list.
Joining is free. A card, a licence check, and posting or answering a referral cost nothing.
Nothing here is a recommendation of one professional over another.

Every agent is matched against the state license record before appearing anywhere public. The check mark is not for sale.
We check real estate licences and nothing else. We do not vet builders, lenders, inspectors or anyone else, and we do not vet anyone’s business conduct. Check people out yourself before you send them a client.
Your card goes public once your license is matched. Most clear the same day. Until then it exists, but nobody else can see it.
If yours doesn’t clear automatically, we email you a private link with exactly what to send — usually just the address of your record on your state’s site. A person reviews it and you go live as soon as it clears. There is no deadline on your side.
One license, one listing. Nobody can be listed twice, and nobody can be listed as someone else.
Anyone can report a listing. A report doesn’t delete anything — it suspends the listing while a person reviews it.
Your brokerage is shown on your profile, as advertising rules require.

There is one founder per state. Once a state is taken, it does not come back. See which states are open.

Referral fees are agreed and paid between the two agents. TopAgentMap doesn’t take a cut and is not a party to the agreement.
A client is only handed over when the client agrees to it.
We never pay anyone for a client referral or for a closing.
We don’t sell, guarantee or estimate leads.

Licensed real estate professionals, under their own name.
Your profile links to your own website or your professional social profile. Tracking parameters are stripped; link shorteners aren’t accepted.
Reviews, when enabled, come only from clients the agent invited. They can be answered but not deleted — and the rating appears from the third review on, so one bad day doesn’t define anyone.
